Inspiration

With the recent COVID-19 pandemic, it is sometimes difficult to get the groceries you need. In addition, there is massive queues in stores and the stores frequently run out of supplies.

What it does

It has a map of local restaurants. From there, users can pick restaurants, see what there is, and queue appropriately. In addition, users can request foods for other users to retrieve and deliver to their house.

How we built it

We used Node.js, HTML, Python, and MongoPy. The HTML handled the frontend. Node.js was used to handle the backend work, especially getting the locations and populating the map. The Python was used with the database and saving the bookings and other information.

What's next for Marketeer

We hope to further enhance the UI and then open it to different locations. Overall, we hope to finetune the application and make sure it can support more people using it.
