Inspiration

This recent crisis put us in the condition to interface with new dynamics related to everyday routines: online schooling, remote working, personal and domestic time management. Everyday many parents have to think about how to manage their children, their work and yet try not to forget to spend valuable time with themselves. Employees need to reconcile work and private life. Kids are not used to break their habits staying mostly at home only with their families and need new solutions to maintain peace and emotional stability. On the other hand, the existing tool do not propose long term solutions able to conjugate technology with physical needs.

What it does

Just a word: Tak!

We imagined an online multichannel platform that matches citizens dealing with similar problems and create cooperative exchange. Namely, a dynamic network aimed to share tips and knowledge for temporary everyday problems generated by the crisis.  Therefore, our main goal is to solve the everyday problems related to this new emergency lifestyle

How can we do that? Providing initial professional contents, stimulating proactivity, merging users with the same needs and finding solutions together.

Tak can be used in the future stimulating the same cooperation and proactivity in citizen to face further crisis. It can set best practices for the integration of digital tools in daily life. Moreover, people can replicate this model in the business sector to find solution to restart together. In the end, this platform can lead us to a valuable collection of datas in order to implement new tools for our new models of living.  In other words, “homemade solutions for new everyday problems”.

How I built it

We met each other only three days ago. Focusing on a in easy to implement a programmatic strategy rather than a software itself was our goal. Moreover, understanding the danish context was crucial. We conducted our research through desk research, informal interviews and data collection.  We created our presentation and our mockups using programs like Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. While the brainstorming and project management required the use of Miro.

Challenges I ran into

It was hard, but also challenging, discover the issues of another country. Even if we face a different culture and different habits we didn’t give up. Humanity has no borders.

What I learned

We learned that in difficult times people have the chance to rebuild their world.
